through our the years,   I've found  interesting way of making music together with choreographers and directors, communicating over each step of the process and adapting music depending of how the choreography is being made, so it can contribute to deeper meaning of visual situation, and can get beautifully incorporated and dedicated to the idea.

 

 

first sound i'm looking for is a vibration from something undefined - but which can create particular incitements, which can generate a  feel for a wanted atmosphere.  With audio workstations process of making music can be is similar to collage, drawing, sculpting, or cooking (but with the big change in approach  with the "undo" function))))).

so my main instrument is computer armed with lots of tools for sound editing, but I use also synths, some blowing and percussion instruments,  a field recorder, some musician friends.

​

if asked, i would say this is application music, blend of ambient, music concrete or electroacoustic, or just sound design.

​

but what like to try is to pause the time, distort the space,

and keep things off gravity as much is possible.

​
